The Phoenix Suns and the Portland Trailblazers duke it out at the Moda Center on Thursday night.

The Phoenix Suns have been in terrific form as they’ve won 13 of their past 15 games and they will be looking to build on their current four-game win streak after blowing past the Warriors in a 120-98 home win on Thursday. Cameron Payne led the team with 17 points and 10 assists off the bench, Devin Booker added 16 points with six assists while Jae Crowder chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Suns shot 51 percent from the field and 12 of 30 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter to take the early double-digit lead, before finishing in a flurry in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trailblazers have won nine of their past 13 games and they will be looking for a fourth straight win after outlasting the Kings in a 123-119 home win on Thursday. Damian Lillard led the team with 44 points on 13 of 26 shooting, Enes Kanter added 22 points with 21 rebounds while Carmelo Anthony chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Trailblazers shot 47 percent from the field and 15 of 38 from the 3-point line as they trailed by five late in the fourth quarter, before riding the hot hand of Lillard who led the team on a pivotal 14-2 run to steal the game late.

Looking at the betting trends, the Suns are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 road games, 22-5 ATS in their last 27 games against a team with a winning record and 36-16 ATS in their last 52 games overall. The Trailblazers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games, 1-7 ATS in their last eight games playing on three or more days’ rest and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings overall and the Suns are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

Cameron Johnson has been ruled out for this one, but Devin Booker is expected to be available which is a major boost for the Suns. The Trailblazers are going into this one with the same lineup and it’s worked so far as they’ve won three straight. The Suns have been one of the hottest teams in the league and they are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 road games, but the Trailblazers have Lillard who is just so dangerous if the game is close at the final minutes. This one is tough to pick, but the Suns are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall and I think that trend continues here as the Suns escape with the win behind big games from Paul and Booker.
