The Portland Trailblazers play host to the Toronto Raptors at the Moda Center on Monday night.

The Toronto Raptors have been stuck in a rut as they’ve lost four of their past five games and they will be eager to bounce back in this one after falling just short to the struggling Pistons in a 127-121 home loss on Saturday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 25 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists on nine of 14 shooting, Gary Trent Jr. added 23 points, OG Anunoby scored 17 points while Goran Dragic chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Raptors shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 34 from the 3-point line as they worked their way to a nine-point lead midway through the third quarter, before seeing their lead disappear in the fourth quarter where the Pistons exploded for 34 points to steal the game late.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trailblazers have been in a slump as they’ve lost six of their past nine games and they will be hoping to bounce back after last night’s 124-95 road loss to the Nuggets. CJ McCollum led the team with 21 points, Anfernee Simons added 16 points while Norman Powell and Nassir Little each scored 13 points but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Trailblazers shot 43 percent from the field and 13 of 39 from the 3-point line but they were fighting an uphill battle all the way after scoring just 18 points in the first quarter to fall behind by double-digits early.

Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The Trailblazers are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings overall.

The Raptors have been playing well below their best lately and they will likely be shorthanded once again as Fred VanVleet, Precious Achiuwa and Chris Boucher are all listed as questionable. The Trailblazers have been in terrible shape lately and they didn’t look too good in their first game without Damian Lillard who is listed as day to day. This is a tough one to pick, but the Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games and I think they can pull off the win in this spot.
