The Sacramento Kings play host to the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 at the Golden 1 Center on Monday night.

The Golden State Warriors will be eager to bounce back and square up the series after falling painfully short to the Kings in a 126-123 loss in Game 1 on Saturday. Stephen Curry led the way with 30 points on 11 of 20 shooting, Klay Thompson added 21 points with six rebounds and five assists while Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole scored 17 points apiece. As a team, the Warriors shot 47 percent from the field and 16 of 50 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Kings in a close contest, until the Kings went on a pivotal 11-4 run to pull away and snatch the game away in a thriller. Draymond Green had a mixed performance as he grabbed nine rebounds with 11 assists but shot just one of five to finish with four points while Jordan Poole interestingly played just 22 minutes off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings will have their eyes on going up 2-0 in the series after outlasting the Warriors in a thriller on Saturday. De’Aaron Fox led the way with a game-high 38 points and five assists on 13 of 27 shooting, Malik Monk added 32 points off the bench while Domantas Sabonis tallied 12 points with 16 rebounds and three steals. As a team, the Kings shot 44 percent from the field and 12 of 32 from the 3-point line as they stayed in the fight with the Warriors in a close contest until they were able to pull away late in the fourth quarter thanks to a flurry from Fox who was the best player on the court that night.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 15-35-1 ATS in their last 51 road games and 32-15 ATS in their last 47 Conference Quarterfinals games. The Kings are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games against a team with a losing road record.

Head to head, the under is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings in Sacramento and the Warriors are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Warriors could be shorthanded for this one as Jordan Poole is listed as questionable, while the Kings are coming into this one with the same lineup. The Warriors will be kicking themselves after they missed on an opportunity to steal home-court advantage on Saturday, but they won’t be panicking, not with the experience they have. Yes, they could be missing Poole in this one, but I don’t see the Warriors missing out for the second straight game if this one goes down to the wire. I think the Warriors bounce back and square up the series behind a big game from Curry.
