The San Antonio Spurs play host to the Golden State Warriors at the AT&T Center on Tuesday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in red-hot form as they’ve won eight of their past 10 games overall and they will be gunning for a seventh straight victory after routing the Rockets in a 122-108 road win last night. Stephen Curry led the team with 40 points and nine assists, Andrew Wiggins added 23 points while Klay Thompson chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Warriors shot 53 percent from the field and 17 of 40 from the 3-point line as they took control of the game with 38 points in the second quarter, before pouring in another 35 points in the fourth quarter to pull away and make it a blowout.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have been in a bit of a rut as they’ve lost four of their past six games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after falling short to the Suns in a 115-110 road loss on Sunday. Doug McDermott led the team with 24 points on nine of 15 shooting, Lonnie Walker added 22 points while Tyus Jones chipped in with 15 points and nine assists. As a team, the Spurs shot 45 percent from the field and 13 of 37 from the 3-point line as they poured in 36 points in the third quarter to lead by as many as 12 points, before all their work went to waste in the fourth quarter where they were outscored by 36-19.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games, 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 13-27-1 ATS in their last 41 games playing on zero days’ rest. The Spurs are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against a team above .600.

Head to head, the under is 3-0-1 in the last four meetings overall and the under is 5-1 in the last six meetings in San Antonio.

The Warriors will again be without Otto Porter Jr, Nemanja Bjelica, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, while the Spurs are at full strength which is a real rarity in the league this season. The Warriors are clearly the team in better form and they look so much more dangerous with Curry coming into this one fresh off a 40-point performance last night. The Spurs are good enough to beat the lesser teams in the league, but they just haven’t been able to stay with the better teams and I think that’s going to be the case once again in this one.
