The Chicago Bears and the San Francisco 49ers meet Sunday in NFL action from Levi’s Stadium. Here’s a San Francisco 49ers vs Chicago Bears prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best 49ers vs Bears pick.
Chicago Bears Betting Preview
The Bears have had quite the nightmarish season so far. Chicago started out pretty well with a 4-2 run featuring losses to only the Texans and Colts. Since their bye, the Bears have lost to the Commanders, Cardinals, Patriots, Packers, Vikings, and Lions, though.
In the Lions game last Thursday, the Bears came back from a 16-0 halftime deficit and scored 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. A late breakdown left Chicago with a 23-20 loss, however. Caleb Williams threw for 256 yards and three scores in the defeat.
San Francisco 49ers Betting Preview
Over on the 49ers’ side, they went into their bye week with a 4-4 record featuring losses to the Vikings, Rams, Cardinals, and Chiefs. Since then it’s been a win over the Buccaneers before losses to the Seahawks, Packers, and Bills.
On Sunday versus Buffalo, the 49ers played in snowy, cold conditions. San Francisco gave up points in every quarter during a 35-10 loss. Brock Purdy threw for just 94 yards, while Jordan Mason had 13 totes for 78 yards as lead rusher.

San Francisco 49ers vs Chicago Bears Prediction
I’ll take a stab at the Bears here, but I’m probably staying away. Chicago mustered just 301 total yards (223 passing) and 17 first downs in their Thanksgiving loss to the Lions, giving up 405 yards (211 passing) on the other side. A blundered closing sequence left the Bears without a chance to tie, and it was a microcosm of their entire season. That said, Chicago has been within three points in four of the six games during their current losing stretch.
As for San Francisco, they likely would have looked better against the Bills if the snowy weather hadn’t been a factor. Still, the 49ers have been at 17 points or below in three straight. They’ve also allowed 73 combined points in the last pair. Chicago should have some opportunities here; the question is whether or not the Bears will botch those chances.
