You couldn’t back either side with too much confidence with both teams stumbling their way into the postseason, but the edge does go to the Kings, who beat the Mavericks in all three meetings during the regular season. The Mavericks have a solid chance to pull off the upset if they can pull out a big game from the very capable Anthony Davis. But the Kings are the deeper team, and they are playing at home, so I will happily lay the points in this spot.
