The Sacramento Kings have been in decent form as they’ve won three of their past five games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting beaten by the Pelicans in a 127-117 loss on Monday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 30 points, Domantas Sabonis racked up a triple-double of 26 points with 13 rebounds and 10 assists, Malik Monk scored 21 points with five assists off the bench while Keegan Murray chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Kings shot 44 percent from the field and 14 of 41 from the 3-point line as they shot out to an early 15-point lead, only to get completely outpaced the rest of the way to lose by double-digits in the end.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have cooled off lately as they’ve lost three of their last four overall and they willl be hoping to bounce back here after coming up just short to the Lakers in a 106-103 road loss on Tuesday. Kevin Durant led the way with 31 points, seven rebounds and four assists on 12 of 17 shooting while Grayson Allen and Devin Booker scored 21 points each but no other player scored more than seven points. As a team, the Suns shot 49 percent from the field and 12 of 25 from the 3-point line as they worked hard to rally back from a 15-point deficit, only to come up just short as Durant airballed the potential tying basket that would’ve sent the game into overtime.

The Kings will be disappointed with their poor performance against the Pelicans in their last outing, but they will be hoping that they’re good enough to take advantage of a Suns team missing their best player in Kevin Durant who has been ruled out due to an ankle sprain. The Suns are still capable of pulling off the upset with Booker always ready to step up his scoring, but the loss of Durant might be too much to overcome against this Kings team who move the ball so well. The line is almost at a pick’em so I’m taking the Kings to earn the win and cover on the road in this one.
