The Boston Celtics have been in red-hot form as they’ve won eight of their last 10 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after having their five-game win streak snapped by the Warriors in a 132-126 overtime road defeat last night. Derrick White led the team with 30 points, seven rebounds and three blocks, Jaylen Brown added 28 points with eight rebounds and seven assists while Jayson Tatum tallied 15 points with eight rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Celtics shot just 41 percent from the field and an atrocious 17 of 58 from the 3-point line as they relied heavily on the 3-point shot which only served them well at the start of the contest as they stormed out to an early 17-point lead, only to let it go to waste in overtime where they managed just five points to allow the Warriors off the hook. The Celtics are 1st in the East and Atlantic Division with a 20-6 record, two wins more than their divisional rivals Philadelphia 76ers.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their last six games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight win after routing the Wizards in a 143-131 home win on Monday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 30 points and six assists on 10 of 19 shooting, Domantas Sabonis racked up a triple-double of 28 points with 13 rebounds and 12 assists while Keegan Murray chipped in with 25 points on nine of 17 shooting. As a team, the Kings shot 53 percent from the field and 17 of 43 from the 3-point line as they poured in 39 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime, before they exploded for 46 points in the third quarter to push the lead out to 26 points and make it a blowout. The Kings are 1st in the Pacific Division with a 16-9 record, just ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers (16-10).

Celtics vs Kings Prediction

The Celtics could again be without Kristaps Porzingis here, while the Kings are still missing Alex Len. the Celtics were on fire before last night’s shocking overtime loss to the lowly Wizards, while the Kings have been in great shape and are coming into this fresh off a big win over the Wizards. Jayson Tatum will be out to make up for last night’s poor shooting performance, but I don’t think it will be enough as the Kings are 10-3 at home this season and I think they build on that with a statement win here.
