The Utah Jazz and the Sacramento Kings duke it out at the Golden 1 Center on Saturday night.

The Utah Jazz have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last seven games overall, but they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting thrashed by the Bucks in a 144-116 loss last night. Simone Fontecchio led the team with 26 points on nine of 16 shooting, Kelly Olynyk added 16 points with seven rebounds and three assists while Talen Horton-Tucker chipped in with 13 points and eight assists. As a team, the Jazz shot just 38 percent from the field and 11 of 40 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and leaked 40 points in the first quarter to fall behind right away and things only got worse in the third quarter where they allowed another 43 points to trail by as many as 36 points at one stage.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to stay hot after taking down the Suns in a 135-127 home win last night. Kevin Huerter led the team with 29 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Domantas Sabonis added 27 points with nine rebounds and nine assists while De’Aaron Fox chipped in with 19 points. As a team, the Kings shot 52 percent from the field and 13 of 39 from the 3-point line as they got off to a poor start and fell behind by as many as 14 points in the second quarter, before they exploded for 45 points in the third quarter to flip the game on its head and pull off the impressive victory.

Looking at the betting trends, the Jazz are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games, 5-0-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. The Kings are 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record, 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 home games against a team with a losing road record and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-1 in the last six meetings overall, the Jazz are 8-2-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall and the Jazz are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings in Sacramento.

The Jazz are shorthanded again as Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson and Rudy Gay are all out, while the Kings don’t have a single player listed on the injury report. The Jazz were building some good momentum before they ran into the Bucks in their last outing, but they’re still banged up and I don’t like their chances against these Kings who have been one of the hottest teams in the league. The betting trends favor the Jazz, but I will be sticking with the Kings at home in this spot.
