The Utah Jazz have lost five of their last eight games, but they will be aiming for a third straight victory after beating the Trail Blazers in a 122-114 road win on Thursday. Collin Sexton led the team with 27 points on 11 of 17 shooting, Simone Fontecchio added 24 points on seven of eight shooting while Talen Horton-Tucker chipped in with 23 points. As a team, the Jazz shot 53 percent from the field and 11 of 33 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 38 points in the first quarter and dominated the game to build a 33-point lead, before the Trail Blazers made a late run to keep the scores close in the end.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after outlasting the in-form Thunder in a 128-123 home win on Thursday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 31 points and seven assists on 14 of 25 shooting, Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk scored 18 points each while Keon Ellis chipped in with 17 points on six of eight shooting. As a team, the Kings shot 49 percent from the field and 18 of 45 from the 3-point line as they went back and forth with the Thunder in a close contest, until late in the third quarter where they went on a 25-12 run to start to pull away.

Jazz vs Kings prediction

The Jazz are still shorthanded with Jordan Clarkson, John Collins and Luka Samanic all out, while the Kings are keeping an eye on De’Aaron Fox who is questionable due to a right shoulder irritation. The Jazz have come to life with two wins in a row after struggling mightily, but they’re still missing some key players, so it’s tough to imagine them troubling the in-form Kings on the road. This should be close in the first half, but in the end I like the Kings to get out in the open and run up a score at home.
