The Philadelphia 76ers invade AT&T Center to do battle with the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been in fine form as they’ve won 10 of their past 13 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up just short to the Clippers in a 102-101 home loss on Friday. Joel Embiid led the team with 40 points, 13 rebounds and six assists on 15 of 25 shooting, Tobias Harris added 20 points with seven rebounds and four assists while Tyrese Maxey chipped in with 19 points and eight assists but no other player scored more than seven points. As a team, the 76ers shot just 41 percent from the field and 10 of 28 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control after exploding for 37 points in the second quarter to lead by as many as 24 points, but they switched off mentally and allowed the Clippers to rally all the way back and snatch the game from them late.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have been in a real slump as they’ve lost 11 of their past 14 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting stomped by the Nets in a 117-102 home loss on Friday. Dejounte Murray led the team with a triple-double of 25 points with 12 rebounds and 10 assists, Derrick White added 17 points with seven assists while Jakob Poeltl chipped in with 15 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks. As a team, the Spurs shot just 38 percent from the field and eight of 29 from the 3-point line as they got off to a solid start to take the lead into halftime, before getting blown out in the second half by 67-51. White shot just four of 16 from the field while Doug McDermott scored just seven points on three of nine shooting.

Looking at the betting trends, the 76ers are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Spurs are 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record, 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a double-digit loss at home and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the under is 8-1 in the last nine meetings in San Antonio and the 76ers are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings in San Antonio.

The 76ers are going to be shorthanded once again as Seth Curry, Shake Milton, Danny Green and Matisse Thybulle are all still out, while the Spurs are just about at full strength for this one. The 76ers are coming into this one as the team in better form and they will be kicking themselves after losing to the Clippers in a game they definitely should’ve won, so I’m sticking with them to get the win and cover at the short line.
