It should be another great game Sunday afternoon when the Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder meet up. These two great basketball teams split their previous two meetings this season.
The Clippers head into this matchup losing two in a row and four of their last seven games. Their streak of seven games scoring over 100 points was recently snapped by the Memphis Grizzles. Still, they’re averaging 112.4 points in their last five games and shooting 49.5 percent from the field. In that same span, they’re allowing 103 points on 42.8 percent shooting. On the road they haven’t been nearly as explosive, averaging 102.2 points and allowing 101.2 points. They are 31-26 ATS overall and 17-12 ATS on the road.

The Thunder had their three-game winning streak snapped in a loss to the Miami Heat. They allowed the Heat to shoot 54.7 percent from the field, while they made only two of 20 three-point attempts. While that was easily their worst game of the season, they’re still in the comfort of their own home, a place where they average 105.8 points and allow 97 points. They are 32-24 ATS overall and 15-12 ATS on their home court.
This game is set up perfectly for a classic Thunder blowout. They know they were just embarrassed on national television and will use this as an opportunity to redeem themselves. After all, how many back-to-back bad performances from the Thunder have we seen this season?
Oklahoma City is 8-2 ATS in its last 10 games against teams with a winning SU record and 4-0 ATS in its last four games following a SU loss. The Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last four meetings against the Thunder.
Look for Kevin Durant and company to put on a show Sunday afternoon.
