The Oklahoma City Thunder invade the American Airlines Center to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been in terrible form as they’ve lost 12 of their past 14 games overall, but they will be eager to build some momentum after taking down the Trail Blazers in a 98-81 home win on Monday. Luguentz Dort led the team with 18 points, Darius Bazley added 15 points off the bench while Josh Giddey chipped in with 14 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Thunder shot just 40 percent from the field and 12 of 41 from the 3-point line as they got off to a sluggish start and fell behind by 18 points early on, before taking over from that point onwards as the held the Trail Blazers to just 34 points in the second half to win comfortably in the end.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in fair shape as they’ve split their last six games and they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up painfully short against the Magic in a 110-108 road loss on Sunday. Luka Doncic led the team with a triple-double of 34 points with 12 rebounds and 11 assists, Jalen Brunson added 15 points while Marquese Chriss chipped in with 14 points and four steals off the bench. As a team, the Mavericks shot 48 percent from the field and 16 of 38 from the 3-point line as they allowed 41 points in the second quarter to see their early 11-point lead disappear, before rallying back from a 12-point deficit, only to come up short as they scored just 20 points in the fourth quarter.

Looking at the betting trends, the Thunder are 15-6 ATS in their last 21 road games, 5-1-2 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 15-6-2 ATS in their last 23 games overall. The Mavericks are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 home games, 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games following a loss.

Head to head, the under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings overall and the Thunder are 1-7 ATS in the last eight meetings in Dallas.

The Thunder will again be without Isaiah Roby and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, while the Mavericks will be without Tim Hardaway Jr, Sterling Brown and Kristaps Porzingis. The Thunder were able to snap out of their slump with a big win over the Trail Blazers, and they are 15-6 ATS in their last 21 road games, but they are only 1-7 ATS in the last eight meetings in Dallas, so I’m sticking with the Mavericks to get the win behind a big game from Doncic.
