The Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers meet Wednesday in NBA preseason action at The Arena.

The Orlando Magic entered the NBA hiatus winning six of their last nine games. The Orlando Magic are averaging 106.4 points on 44.2 percent shooting and allowing 107.3 points on 46.3 percent shooting. Nikola Vucevic is averaging 19.5 points and 11 rebounds while Evan Fournier is averaging 18.8 points and 2.6 rebounds. Terrence Ross is the third double-digit scorer and Aaron Gordon is grabbing 7.6 rebounds. The Orlando Magic are shooting 34.1 percent from beyond the arc and 77 percent from the free thitem line. The Orlando Magic are allowing 37 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 44.5 rebounds per game.

The Los Angeles Clippers entered the NBA break winning seven of their last eight games. The Los Angeles Clippers are averaging 116.2 points on 46.4 percent shooting and allowing 109.7 points on 43.6 percent shooting. Kawhi Leonard is averaging 26.9 points and 7.3 rebounds while Paul George is averaging 21 points and 3.9 assists. Lou Williams is the third double-digit scorer and Montrezl Harrell is grabbing 7.1 rebounds. The Los Angeles Clippers are shooting 36.6 percent from beyond the arc and 79.2 percent from the free thitem line. The Los Angeles Clippers are allowing 34.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 48 rebounds per game.

These scrimmages are going to be tough to handicap considering they’re only to knock the rust off players who haven’t played in months. We’re going to see long rotations and guys who aren’t going to play in meaningful game get minutes here. I wouldn’t expect the stars of the Clippers to get heavy workloads and even then the potential line is going to be inflated because they’re the Clippers, a top-two title contender in terms of odds. The Orlando Magic have a lot more guys on their roster who have been itching for playing time and I expect them to take these moments a little more seriously.

Assuming the Magic are getting six or more free points, I’d take them in this scrimmage. Of course, I’d update this article when and if a line is released.
