The Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers meet Friday in NBA action at the HP Field House.

The Orlando Magic could use a victory here after splitting their last 10 games. The Orlando Magic are averaging 107 points on 44.4 percent shooting and allowing 107.8 points on 46.6 percent shooting. Nikola Vucevic is averaging 19.5 points and 10.9 rebounds while Evan Fournier is averaging 18.4 points and 2.6 rebounds. Terrence Ross is the third double-digit scorer and Aaron Gordon is grabbing 7.7 rebounds. The Orlando Magic are shooting 34.3 percent from beyond the arc and 77.2 percent from the free thitem line. The Orlando Magic are allowing 36.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 44.5 rebounds per game.

The Philadelphia 76ers look for a third straight win after splitting their last 12 games. The Philadelphia 76ers are averaging 110 points on 46.6 percent shooting and allowing 107.9 points on 46.3 percent shooting. Joel Embiid is averaging 24 points and 11.9 rebounds while Tobias Harris is averaging 19.6 points and 6.8 rebounds. Ben Simmons is the third double-digit scorer and Josh Richardson is dishing three assists. The Philadelphia 76ers are shooting 36.3 percent from beyond the arc and 75.4 percent from the free thitem line. The Philadelphia 76ers are allowing 35.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 45.4 rebounds per game.

The Magic are 14-6 ATS in the last 20 meetings in Philadelphia and 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings. The over is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings in Philadelphia. The under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.

The Philadelphia 76ers have put together a couple of wins, but they didn’t look good in either game and now they have to deal with the loss of Ben Simmons. The sky is falling in Philly, and I’m not running to the window to lay chalk with this team. The Orlando Magic are better than what oddsmakers give them credit for and they’ve actually won the last three meetings against the 76ers. The Magic are also fighting for playoff seeding, as the last thing they want is a first round date with the Milwaukee Bucks.

I’ll take the points with the Magic if forced to pick this game.
