The Golden State Warriors were on a six-game slide before they snapped out of it with a 121-116 win over the Rockets on Monday. Stephen Curry led the team with 32 points, Klay Thompson added 20 points, Dario Saric provided the spark off the bench with 18 points while Chris Paul tallied 15 points and 12 assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 46 percent from the field and a sizzling 21 of 43 from the 3-point line as they poured in 34 points in the second quarter to build a 14-point lead, which proved to be just enough to hold off a late charge from the Rockets in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns are starting to heat up again as they are now gunning for a fifth straight victory after taking down the Trail Blazers in a 120-107 win last night. Kevin Durant led the team with 31 points and nine assists on 13 of 21 shooting, Devin Booker added 28 points with six assists while Jusuf Nurkic chipped in with 18 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. As a team, the Suns shot 56 percent from the field and seven of 17 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, before they exploded for 38 points in the third quarter to put the game to bed early.

• The Suns have won eight of their last nine home games on the second leg of a back-to-back against the Warriors.

The Warriors could be shorthanded here as Gary Payton is listed as questionable, while the Suns are still missing Bradley Beal and Yuta Watanabe. The Warriors were really struggling during that six-game slide, but they will be feeling better after taking down the Rockets in a tough win on Monday. The Suns are playing their second game of a back to back set and their third game in four nights, so I’ll lean towards the Warriors to take advantage in this spot. I wish we were getting more points here, but I’ll lean towards the Warriors on the road.
